About John Galvin

John Galvin is a visual artist from Ireland. He lives in the Lake County of Westmeath, situated in the heartland. He specializes in creating original art and prints, most of them portraying all kinds of idyllic sceneries and landscapes. His goal is to make his work capture and portray the extraordinary, which, according to him, often lies hidden in the ordinary. His work lets its onlookers open their eyes and minds and helps them appreciate the beauty that everyday life holds for us all. Most of his work is made with traditional oil paints on canvas.
